Lonestar Sky Dairy Goats

Our first show of the 2010 season was at Grinders Switch.  This show is put on by Pam Hethcote and is probably one of the most enjoyable family shows to go to.  After the serious business of showing on Saturday the exhibitors are treated to a cook out followed by games for kids of all ages that include an obstacle course, dress up your goat and kids knowledge bowl.  Truly a great time.  Our daughter Katya took 1st place in showmanship for the second year in a row.  We were thrilled to see 2 of our kids go Reserve Grand for their breeds.  They can be seen on our Junior doe page.  Our junior herd sire Silver King got 1st place Get of Sire.  We are already looking forward to next year at Grinders!!!
